How to Enter
Register your school on www.yourschoolgames.com (Contact Alex Sherwood if you need to reset your school login credentials). We’re also encouraging schools to engage parents/carers to record ‘At Home’ attempts!
All entries to be made before deadline: FRIDAY 11th December 2020
How to Play
- Players are pirates, their coned area is their boat & the balls are the treasure! You need between 12 - 20 pirates split into 4 boats. The distance of your square area should be 7mx7m in size (this is important to ensure the same distance is achieved across different schools!)
- The first player in each team runs to the middle of the playing area, collects a ball & dribbles it back to their base.
- The next player runs & collects the next ball and so on If all the balls disappear from the middle, players should run to other pirates boats & ‘steal’ a ball within the time limit
- After the game ends, ask teams to count up the number of balls they have.
- 1 ball = 5 points. 20 balls should be used for this game.
- 90 seconds to be timed by the teacher.
Record each of the 4 teams total scores - submit your winning team score point total!
How to Score
Your score should be the total amount of balls collected during the 90 seconds. Remember each ball is worth 5 points and this game should be played with exactly 20 balls.
