Policies
Hull Active Schools CIC has a legal and moral responsibility to implement policies and procedures that provide a duty of care to all children and young people we serve.
Our Safeguarding Policy safeguards their wellbeing and protects them from abuse or poor practice on any grounds. Hull Active Schools appreciates that its work with young people living in areas of deprivation requires that it to take a contextualised approach to safeguarding. This means acknowledging the extra risks posed to young people due to the community they live in and social factors impacting upon their life. Our Safeguarding Policy, and wider CIC policies, that ensure we are compliant with governance and law can be found on this page
Our operational staff team are employed by two partner schools, Sirius Academy West and St Mary’s College. These schools operate within The Constellation Trust and St Cuthbert’s Roman Catholic Trust respectively. Their trust policies are available to view and in certain circumstance these policies will supersede the Hull Active Schools CIC policy documents found on this page where appropriate;
